New Neighbours

We have new neighbours and they are so great! The major part of our decision to stay at this home, and sell our grander, roomier place was because we love this location, and the friendly families in our street. We live on a battleaxe block and our back neighbour is great. Very Freo and super friendly. His son is the same age as miss i and lives with Dad week on/week off which the girls love. Our neighbours to one side are older and very friendly. The kind of neighbour to chat with over the fence, always asking “How is the Young Prince?” since master x arrived. Anyway the other neighbour was an ant man and very reserved. He fussed if the bins were put out too close to his property and pretty much kept to himself. He sold his place recently and the new neighbours moved in. Yippee, we hit the lottery with a gorgeous couple and their two daughters miss 4 years and miss 2 years. Both with lots of attitude – so cute. We hit it off from the start and for the first time in my adult life, I feel like we have friends living next door. Christmas Eve we had all the neighbours over for impromptu drinks on the deck and life just felt good.

To top all that off, one of my besties has moved into our suburb too. She and her family live just four streets away now. Master 11 year old and miss 14 year old biked over this afternoon to have a swim and the kids all invited themselves for dinner so a quick call later and my bestie and her man came for swim and dinner on the deck too. This is what life is all about!
